I wrote a book, for my niece and would like to post it online for others to read and give feedback. She got the book, for Christmas so it's already in print, but not in stores (yay Kinko's!).

I have a wordpress blog. http://frugalgardeningmomma.wordpress.com/

I don't update it anymore though. I need to. I use it to drive traffic to my Hubpages account.

You can't use HubPages as a personal blog but you can probably use it to get your book out there. Maybe include a chapter and then include the ad to the book when it is up for sale. I'm not sure how they police HubPages when it comes to promotion--you can email them and ask though. My traffic is awesome on my Hubs and I am actually making money there.

Google Panda didn't really hurt web authors there.

Don't forget when you get it posted to add it to Google Website Submission.

If you want to just write out the entire book- you can do that on HubPages. As long as it is original content they won't mind. You'd probably get people wanting you to post more books! :-)

It's pretty funny :) I know... who would have thought I'd write something entertaining?

Took about a month to write and the hardest part was *stopping* the writing! It wanted to keep being written, for ages! I thought "If I don't stop this, I'll still be writing the story, when she enters college."

Let us know when we can get our hands on a copy of this! I'll def buy one!! :)

I'll talk to Jennifer Keats Curtis about who a good publisher is and if she has any pointers :)

:thumbsup
I know a lady that had a cookbook published at Lulu.com...
