That was a fantastic essay and very informative!
I enjoyed every bit of it and found it well written. Thank you for sharing it.

This is not idle praise. I spent way too much time in universities, and one of the parchments I picked up is a BA in English. I used to grade college papers for a living, I'm a published writer, and lately I've been doing a lot of engineering documentation so at the moment I'm writing for a living. So I've seen a lot of writing and have a strong basis for comparison.

From a professional perspective: your writing style is very mature, your tone is consistent, and I would not have known by your writing that you are in high school. It would be a shame for an essay like this *not* to be sent to an editor. The story about Tiramisu alone would make a great article.

Don't ask, don't get! You've got nothing to lose.
