Which animal killed my duck?

This morning, while my duck was outside, an unknown predator killed him. Attached is a photo of his corpse that we found. Does anyone know which animal did this?

just the one neck wound with no missing flesh? It does look like how a dog would kill for sport. Do you have dogs or perhaps neighbor dogs that have access to your yard?

Would need to be a fairly big opossum, in Maryland you have foxes and bobcats to consider. How rural are you?
