WoW, for the first time I actually chose the same choice as everyone else. LoL I read the post before reading everyone else's, and agree with most everyone, NUMBER 3.
For a breed who's standard isn't very standard, and not going to any shows, I am happy to think when the day comes I get to choose between the 11 cockerels I have, from 5 separate lines I might make another good choice. Unfortunately the one I am afraid everyone will like was the one who survived my incubator disaster this past spring. He is my Thom Dean BC who's egg was totally fractured the day before he was to hatch, and he is missing one eye and has a crossed beak. BUT, his color is outstanding. He is the best bird with the girls. Hard to get rid of a bird who survived such a rude entry into the world and is so sweet.
All your boys look uniformly nice. Like bookends for the most part. I would not hesitate in keeping at least one other cockerel as a back up.
