Ah thanj you but im not looking to identify people purebreeds, i know i shouldve specified but yes i do know this is a mixed breed because of the feather colors and look. they dont have those brown feathers and green on the tip if im correct. Thank you again fro clearing that upThat rooster isn’t a pure barred rock. For one, he appears to be a bantam. He also has the incorrect body type and tail type of a pure PBR. That, and the fact that he only has one barring gene (a purebred Plymouth barred rock rooster should have two) and excessive leakage. I’ve seen that picture used on many websites, which is unfortunate.
You're so knowledgeable and have a really good eye at this stuff! I'm always in awe of your breed skills! Too bad we can't change your "crossing the road" to "Breed ID Master"That rooster isn’t a pure barred rock. For one, he appears to be a bantam. Thanks! Sometimes I think I pay too much attention to this stuff. You're so knowledgeable and have a really good eye at this stuff! I'm always in awe of your breed skills! Too bad we can't change your "crossing the road" to "Breed ID Master"

You definitely dont in my opinion, you definetly help people outThanks! Sometimes I think I pay too much attention to this stuff.![]()
We're lucky to have you! You're so helpful and I really appreciate you being here and helping me on numerous occasions. I'm sure many agree. I especially love how you always try to explain and help us understand better. There are only a few of you that are always right on breeds and actually try to explain things like that and that's incredibly kind. I appreciate that a lot and have learned so much from this. I still miss little things like muffs or something and my guess (I always state upfront that I am only taking a guess so they should wait for the knowledgeable folks to get a correct answer) is off on breeds that I personally own! I keep trying though because if I'm lucky, one of you awesome folks (4 members in particular) I can think of will help me see what I missed. I love this place and the members. Thank you for helping us identify breeds and much moreThanks! Sometimes I think I pay too much attention to this stuff.![]()
