Which breed should I choose for a rooster?

I bought some chicks from Tractor Supply a few weeks ago (a variety of straight-run and pullets) and now their sex differences are showing. I have 11 chicks and it looks like I have 1 blue wyandotte roo, 1 blue Australorp roo, 1 ameraucana roo, and possibly a buff brahma roo.

I am trying to decide which rooster would be right for me. I'd like one that has good body condition and heavy (so I'm assuming that puts the ameraucana out) and who will protect the girls. What are your opinions? I've had a gl wyandotte roo before and he was great, but a little on the meaner side if you got too close.

Any of these would make great roosters if you handle them correctly.
I would not eliminate the Americana because if it came from tractor supply its an easter egger and easter eggers are wild balls.
I would wait about 2 more weeks and at that point sit down with each of them and chose a rooster.

Things to look for in a cockerel:
  • Good to the pullets
  • not friendly to humans (friendly cockerels will turn out mean)
  • Wary of humans but understand your dominance
  • any traits you want out of him(weight, looks, ect.)
