We want to add two chicks to our group. We are looking for friendly, pretty birds. Local breeder is taking orders for the following chicks. What would you recommend? I definitely am leaning towards a Mille d'uclle or two.

Here is what they are offering: silver laced Wyandotti, Columbian Chohin, Silver Laced Sebrites, Mille Fleur Uccles, YOKOHAMA (Red sholder, silver blue, red blue), SUMATRA (blue, black, splash), CuchooD'Anver, Golden Campine, and the very rare WHITE FACE BLACK SPANISH.

Thoughts?

I've heard that the Campine's are flighty, but I've never had one. I have a Mille Fleur, and she is so dang sweet, and tiny. My Cochins, are extremely sweet, and they tolerate my 5 year old chasing them all over the yard to catch them. Usually if I go outside and they are about, the cochins are usually there bugging me for a treat. But my chicks were handled a lot while they were young. Not really sure on the others. I know people with Sumarta's and they seem fine, but they are not handled like my birds.

Good luck!
