Which BYC member scares you?

Just chased off four red foxes from the coop, got a shot on one.
Four? Seriously? Has this happened to anyone else?

I made an example out of one last summer. No more trouble from foxes. Chicken snakes are our problem. 4 of those last summer.

I've never had a hen come after me. They are all hiss and no bite. The ganders are usually too.

And this is why geese scare me

Oh, they aren't scary. They are precious! I love mine. And their little wheep wheeps when they are babies is just the cutest.

I can't stand the rat snakes. I didn't have a problem last year, but I've already killed a gigantic one this year.

So far they've been all bluff. But I've never seen Vaughn this agitated so I'm not about to take my chances in an enclosed house with four angry adult geese.

They're dumb as babies but they're just trying to gain your trust so they can eat you once they grow up
