Haha! Who do you think I am, Dr. Doolittle? I told the frog not to spawn in the puddle, pretty much avoided the little snake, and chased the possum into the woods

I'm hearing coyotes, far off in the distance. Probably closer than they sound

Just went to check on my lambs and the night was crawling with wildlife! A frog in a puddle, a possum, and a ring-necked snake.

Me too! They're pretty neat looking. My kids like them too because they're pretty docile.

I thought my Mallard had been taken by a hawk or something because she disappeared for 3 days. I was outside bottle feeding the lambs yesterday and saw her back in the duck pen, eating with the rest of them. I thought, oh yay, she's back! I went outside later to put the ducks away and she was gone again. I figured she had to be broody and had a nest hidden somewhere outside the pen. Sure enough, this morning when I fed the ducks she came back to the pen, all puffy and quacking her little head off. Had a bit of a ridiculous moment trying to catch her with the net... Mallards are quick! My husband finally trapped her in the goose house where the goose were trying to murder her and now she's in broody jail.
