Me? that was the previous girl's dad. First time I was over he did the "clean the gun while we have a chat" thing. I offered to help and he chilled out. He was a nutjob, but he had cool guns.

I met my wife at work. Been happy ever since. I would say the jobs we had at the time wasn't what I would consider a career. So neither of us work there or in the same field now.

My wife was the boss' daughter... Granted, it was a pizza joint, we were both working there part time for spending money around our college plans, and had a hell of a lot of common ground outside work which made it actually work out for us, but still. Yeah.

Guys, the operative words were work and "sex". I did not say anything about love and marriage.

However, I will say I worked with my ex at the same place for about 10 years (before she was my ex) and it was doable, but I hope I never doable it again. Also, someone usually needs to leave if it breaks down. I am still there. Sometimes I am walking tentatively around thinking I will come down a hall, around a corner, and there she will be. Shudder
We have kids and a pretty good relationship, too, but no double shudder

Sex in the workplace is a whole other story indeed. And, it is very, very dangerous especially for a man, and even more so if a man and a manager.

I never had the “gun thing” done to me. One of the dads did try to bait me up with a beer one time. I liked beer but I wasn’t stupid.
