it gets tricky, so I went and found a doc talking about what the differences are in the cetacean family and how we humans classify them. Long story short, all dolphins are whales, but not all whales are dolphins.

Kinda like all tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises.

All right, so bottom line, mommy was at least partially correct, and the 3.5 year old was... not entirely wrong? LOL If she had specified that a "Killer Whale" is a kind of dolphin, then that would have been absolutely true. Got it.

Our FW law is surprisingly restrictive, considering it's AZ. Nothing aerial, only ground fireworks are legal (sparklers count and are legal). Also restricted to the week up to 4th of July and the Christmas-New Year holiday.

Having said that, Stupid people shoot them off all the time. at least one night a week one of my idiot neighbors is launching large mortars. This is why I hate people. I'm all for fireworks and fun, but be responsible will ya?

It has sounded like a war zone all weekend around town here. They are already shooting fireworks for the 4th. It will increase as we get closer
