I didn't name my last kid until I was 2 weeks overdue with him.

I hear that. Both of our last 2 had different names when we walked into labor/delivery than what ended up on the birth certificates

It happens! Suddenly they're born and they don't look like the name you picked. I get it.

We never found out the gender of our kids until they were born so had to have two names picked out. Twice the pressure!
