One thing that northerners just don't understand is the humidity. I had an empty bunny barn, covered and wrapped with tarps, that filled with snow and ice. It's so different from the months of cold that other states get

Uh...humidity isn't just a southern thing btw

But 100% humid cold is worse than dry cold. As it is with humid heat vs dry heat
