Oh my gosh. That's awful.

It was. That was about 14 years ago. To this day, there’s certain basic daily things that I won’t do with that finger. Pushing buttons at a gas pump, on the microwave, etc. I had to train myself to not use that finger because it hurt so bad. It doesn’t hurt anymore but the training is still there.
