Yes, acrylics dry very fast. I use oils so it takes forever to dry unless cut with a good amount of turp.

I woudl like to dabble in oils, but not how my office is set up today. I need a place where I can better control the dust and contaminants in the air so they don't settle on a wet piece while it dries and my office is not that place.

I get it with the dust. My art room has turned into the chick brooder room this last 6 months, lol.
