Mom is a Yankee though, so I use lunch and dinner interchangeably.

Fun fact

Western Canada is more like the southern USA in many ways, while eastern Canada is more like the northern USA. (Don't ask me why, just the way of the world)

So in Saskatchewan where I was born we said breakfast, dinner, supper. In Ontario where I live now, we say breakfast, lunch, dinner.

I just use them all depending on what comes out at the time
