I don’t have anything against them, it’s just that they’re not as amazing as wild turkeys.

Although I don’t like how it sticks in your teeth
Imagine what it does when it sticks in your colon. Diverticulosis and popcorn do NOT play well together.

They really suck at hunting.
Apparently you have never watched one hunting ducks. True story, I was duck hunting a long time ago and I could see probably 100 yards away an eagle crouched down across the pond from where I was. He just sat there waiting for the ducks to fly into my decoys like he knew what was gonna happen. Anyway after a while I saw 3 ducks flying in just over the marsh grass and the coolest thing happened. As they were crossing in front of the eagle all of a sudden he jumped up and hit one of those ducks square in the chest. I could tell he was using magnum loads probably 12 ga the way the feathers flew from the ducks chest and the way that shotgun kicked him with recoil! Then he sent him lab out to get him. I don't tell this story much cause I get the feeling people don't believe me but oh well. Anyway yall have a good day

We had a Redtailed hawk circling our decoys. Did terrible things for the duck flights. He finally left and we knocked a couple teal down. The wind was from behind our backs and blew the ducks across the flooded rice field. After the hunt, we found a teal missing part of the breast and feathers everywhere. That Redtailed was waiting for us to make breakfast. Sorry that I interrupted him. I'd be happy to share a duck, and a teal is good eating.
