It's impressive that anyone would know what kind of mosquito it is. I try to kill them before getting a good look at them. Besides I'd have to learn what a dozen or so look like.

The Asian Tiger Mosquito is invasive (like all mosquitos to North America), prolific and easily identified by it's stripes.

Earwig and carpenter bee season has ended.

Stink bug and spider season has begun. I'd much rather keep the earwigs than trade them for stink bugs.

I've still got a few Carpenter bees hanging around. But the spiders are out of control right now.
