I've done this with squash blossoms before. They were really good.Cut just the pretty flower heads, leaving the stems behind. Rinse really well and pat dry. Dip in egg wash and then toss in seasoned flour/bread crumbs. Fry in butter (that's right - BUTTER) until golden and crispy.
Drain and devour. Delicious!
