I'm still getting 4-6 eggs a day from my 6 ladies

Pullets can lay all winter their first winter. Will spoil you and then the next winter, nothing but a "the food dish is empty and we want sunflower seeds."

I am expecting the old ladies to molt, but they have not started yet. They look so funny when they molt. Half the chicken disappears.

The problem with that is they tend to shake them. Not intentionally - they're just not very steady. *Don't run with the beer.
