CorrectMetric teen spelling?
My girls don't mind when we get near zero, they just hate the snowthanks. i think i’ll go for it. i’m thinking just above the top of the window
when it drops down near 0 i usually close that window anyway.
yeah they don’t seem to mind too much, but the coop has plenty of ventilation up high, even with the window closedMy girls don't mind when we get near zero, they just hate the snow
I was expecting nothing but Brazilian oak wood, Rosewood and velvet lined nest boxes.kinda off topic for this thread, but i have an actual chicken question.
would i have any issues putting a roost bar just above the level of a window in the coop?
the window is top hinged, so i don’t think any wind blows directly in.

that’s the window on the right, and there’s a vent at the top of the wall.
i need to redo the roost bars in the coop. no one uses the bottom one and i have 2 or 3 hens sleeping on top of the nest boxes.
my plan is one level of roost bar starting to the right of the nest boxes, going across the back wall, and the full length of the long wall of the coop.
Torque like that tooMetric teen spelling?
