No small feat, when I think about it. Four kids 7 and under, a dog, and a 9 1/2 hour drive.
I resorted to alternating with telling vividly painted fairy tales and singing songs.

It wasn't that heroic, really. Maisy gets an A+. She was absolutely perfect.
And the kids were really great until the last couple hours and, even then, they weren't naughty, they were just hyper.
They're like church mice when I tell stories, though.
