My mother's old neighbor had the same issue. I get "hair headaches" but no migraines thankfully.
I never had headaches with my long hair, but when I had it cut, my neck popped like popcorn for a couple of days and I felt like I grew a couple of inches! 😄

There is no way on God's green earth I could use a boar's hair brush. I'd look like I stuck my finger into an electrical socket!

$300-$400 just to have good hair for three months?! You're nutso!
You must have really curly hair! Isa, doesn't, unless her picture isn't really her and she does!

I probably am nutso, no argument there. However, I totally pay that for good hair. I am outside all day, everyday, from the moment I rise until I go to bed regardless of weather conditions. I have funky textured hair. Being outside does to my hair what a boar bristle brush would do to your hair. I can wash my hair, but can't dry and iron it, atm. That, too, would give me hair like yours would be after using a boar bristle brush. My nutso hair treatment lets me endure all weather types AND wash my hair and let it air dry with outstanding results. Totally worth it for me.

That is expensive, no doubt, but I would actually consider it. It's a hair strengthening treatment due to the keratin, not purely cosmetic.
I could get a regular Keratin treatment, but it wouldn't yield the results I'm after. It might work for you. Your hair after treatment must be exactly how you prefer it for 72 hrs, though, or it'll bend and stay bent for quite some while.

geez! we’ve got a regular mark birch over here

Visited my dad in the hospital today. He didn't know I was coming and his face lit up when I walked in his room. So, so good to see him and hug him.
Surgery to place the stent should happen mid-morning tomorrow and, if everything goes well, he should be discharged the following day.
:weeI'm sure just seeing you was about the best therapy.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I took the pre-natals for a while but I'm not consistent about stuff like that. My hair was down to my knees for a while. I ended up cutting it short after I had surgery in both shoulders and couldn't take care of it any more, about three years ago. The best thing I did to promote rapid growth and prevent breakage was to wrap it at night. I'd put it in a nylon knee-high stocking or braid it. I washed it about every five or six days, and I used what I called a rake, a wide-toothed comb, to detangle it, morning and night. Mostly I kept it in a pony tail with coated ties about every six inches. Wearing it down was for special occasions. I miss it.
I want to cut mine off, but the husband will hear of no such thing. I envy you.
