She only lives 2-3 hours from me. They're doing some dirt bike type stuff not too far away so we met for dinner.My response to both of these is the same…. WHAT!? How!?!?!

I think all US states have ticks or at least the lower 48. I think WA is one of the worse or at least has them year round. Texas as well. There is even a tick named "Lone Star" but I do not believe it is named after the state. However, I believe The Lone Star State has those, also.But there’s literally nothing but mountains and scenery in WA, so I can’t expect to have seen a tick here.
