I got these at the Swavorsky store in The Gaylord. I wanted something shiny to make me feel better. I'm not usually a fan of yellow gold, but I thought it looked like a tiara for my middle finger. So I couldn't pass it up.
Retail therapy = 100% effective. Although I think the more proper term nowadays is "self care."

Lots of stress in your family right now. Sending positive vibes.
He's just a prick. I asked if everything was done that needed to be done. My sister was asked to pick out to hymns for the graveside service. I haven't been asked to do a thing. In fact, he told me I didn't have to come and no one would care when we thought he'd pass and the service would happen before I got back from the conference. I've been asking for months if they knew what needed to happen when he passed away because of his military accomplishments. You can't just throw him in a pine box in a hole behind the lake. Blah blah blah. Guess who was right? Me. The military wants to be there. And they require a 72 hour notice to send representatives. So they couldn't rush to get him buried On Saturday or Sunday like they wanted. Because duh. Veteran's Day and the weekend don't count as business days. So he mentioned there would be a hand out at the graveside. I said okay, does the professional writer in the family meed to take a look at it? No, it's already gone to print. Great. Cool. I'm so glad I could contribute. And then he sends those last two pictures, after I griped and said the family needed to get on there and put pictures and things in the tribute book and I mentioned those might be nice to photograph or scan in so people could see them. I asked if that display would be there and he said yes. Shelley (his current girlfriend and possibly 4th wife that he'll be spending the holidays with instead of his mother who he put in a home because he's selfish) will have them set up. And proceeds to say how she's done so much work. Are you serious? I told him I'm sure. If he'd asked anyone else I'm sure they'd have been glad to help as well. rolls eyes all the way into my head Then he sends me the obituary again. I said yeah, I've been on there. Did something change? He was like no your name is listed. I said like in the obituary? Yes. No kidding. I noticed. At least I work in Commerce so it's almost right.

Good gawd. How about they not make a really sad situation 1000% worse?

So sorry you're having to deal with this. But, since it's dad, you've been dealing with this a long time.

Indeed.
100% I should also mention that when I talked to him before Archie passed, he said he just wanted this to be over because he was tired of taking care of people that weren't him.

Also, pardon the typos in my rant earlier. I was super irritated and typing quickly and didn't proof read.

Just read your grandfather's obit. I never thought about your full name being Colton🤦 Just always assumed it was just Colt. All the people I know named Colton go by the full name
