She shared a 1 bedroom apartment with 3 other people. Her bedroom was the living room. It cost them $4k/month. In 2009.

This was her complex. She was on the 12th floor. There are about the same # of people in that complex than in all three cities in our county. Not an exaggeration.

That gives me the creeped-out shivers, and I grew up in Denver. I currently live 3 miles out of a small town, pop. about 365. We're 30 miles away from the nearest Walmart. I'm so happy!
