I HAVE to be an extrovert all day long, but I love me some alone time. Hubby goes to bed at 8pm (he leaves for work at 3am). After 8pm is ME TIME.

Because small talk is an essential part of my career, I excel at it. I have become the gal who gets to break bad news because I can do it without everyone hating me. It's a talent to be able to tell parents their kids are not likely to graduate from high school at a big scary meeting and get everyone to the point that they are smiling and feeling optimistic by the meeting's end.

It's a good thing I use that power for good and not evil....

surgery was a success. i’m back home on the couch now.

had a peripheral tear in my right medial meniscus. they were able to repair it instead of cut away some of my cartilage.

the recovery is a little more complicated, but i get to keep all of my tissue so i’m happy about that.

Oh don't worry about offending me. I'm well aware that many folks thrive on social interaction. I don't hold that against them. I just prefer they extrovert some place... over there *waves hands in a random direction*. 5 miles or so should do.
