I did some brick and mortar Black Friday shopping on Wednesday with my daughter. I really shouid say that she did the shopping while I sat down and played with my phone until time to pay. And, some of the places offered me beer whike I waited. It was like here Dad have a drink while we help your daughter with your credit card.
Did some more last night online which is my typical way of shopping. I got a couple of good deals, or least they made me feel like I did

at the risk of inciting another riot…the personal shoppers at barney’s bring me whatever i want to drink, or eat, while they comb the store for things for me to try on. nordstrom as well.

most high end stores offer something like that.

Yeah, well, the people at Planter’s supply take my feed out to the truck. That’s as close as I can get to the Nordstrom life.

first of all, your words, not mine.

secondly, i’ve only ever seen it associated with more luxury or boutique experiences, but i’m sure those are not the only places you can drink and shop.

i know mywife drank a ton of champagne when she was wedding dress shopping and my watch guy keeps a really well stocked bar in the back room.

Some low end stores apparently have their version of the same.
I hear at Walmart you can just take stuff off the shelves and eat and drink while wondering around picking out your own clothes to try on.

My feed place does the same, thank god since I don't think I could lift 7 bags up into the car
