Eew! I am home every black Friday. Not much of a shopper.

The store opened up a hour early so I've been up since 4pm. I work customer service and I think people are just different on this day.

This is my first time working retail during black Friday. WT* is wrong with people! Do people turn to absolute idiots? People turn primal and rude. Greedy, greedy, greedy.

Yep. So glad I got a different job this year. Still wish it was a violent 'you win or you die' brawl, but I also am super nice to the workers

I have never been shopping on "Black Friday" and have no plans of ever doing so.
It sounds like an excuse to throw off societal norms and have a free for all.

at the risk of inciting another riot…the personal shoppers at barney’s bring me whatever i want to drink, or eat, while they comb the store for things for me to try on. nordstrom as well.

most high end stores offer something like that.

They are called personal shoppers and it does not surprise me that Barney's in NYC would offer this service.

secondly, i’ve only ever seen it associated with more luxury or boutique experiences, but i’m sure those are not the only places you can drink and shop.

i know mywife drank a ton of champagne when she was wedding dress shopping and my watch guy keeps a really well stocked bar in the back room.

The Peasents can use the personal shoppers, they just have to be spending their life savings on clothes, shoes etc. Any lingerie department in any up scale store will have a Lady to measure you so you can try on the correct size bra for you.

We have personal shoppers in Walmart too. You don’t even have to go inside. You can sit in the car and get hammered.
