Why is it still in one piece?
Kingsnakes of several subspecies are protected in various states, so turning one into pieces may be slightly illegal depending.

They are also specialists in hunting other snakes and highly resistant to rattler venom, so they're beneficial to have around. Of course, the tradeoff is they will eat eggs too, so it's best to relocate them if you find them sniffing around your coops.
