I had a few randoms but never a retic. I'd always heard they had a nasty attitude.
Mostly I had Burms, Bloods and Rosy.
I was more into lizards. Monitors, Uromastyx, bearded, the frilled etc.

I worked at Petsmart many moons ago. We had two uromastyx for sale, over $100 each. I was working one day and a guy came in and told me he wanted to buy both of them. I asked if he knew how to take care of them. He assured me that he did. I boxed them up for him and sent him to the register. I was so excited to have sold them, we had them for months. I went up to the register a few minutes later to talk to the cashier. The box was sitting there but the guy was gone. He told the cashier that he had to go get his wallet. I checked the box and it was empty. The bastard tucked the reptiles into his coat and left. Still makes me sick to this day, 20 years later. If I would have just taken the box to the cashier myself, it never would have happened

Nastiest snake by far that I ever had was a red tail boa and they're supposed to be good starter snakes.

Ironically I've never met a friendly one. Derpy BP's are always my starter recommendation.

Meanwhile, we also had a female basilisk there for years. I almost bought her many times but I lived in an apartment that didn't allow pets. I would walk around that store with her on my shoulder or stomach. We would put her in a huge tank to watch her swim and run across the water. She is the one animal I regretted not buying from there

Ugh. Stealing is bad enough but when someone steals an animal, just gets me so sick. They won't take care of it if they are gonna steal it
