So why'd you chop yours? Mine was down to my waist at one point, but I chopped it off when I started spending more fiddling with engines and my FIL's lathe. Being in proximity to spinny things that eat long hair seemed like a super bad idea.

Honestly, I just got tired of dealing with it. Anytime I was at home I had it up in a clip or whatever because it made me hot. I have a lot of fine hair. So I didn't have much volume. And even though I took really good care of it which is why I liked it, I decided to chop it all off. lol Spinny things that eat other things aren't a good idea. Like @OneHappyDuckie and shredders...

Well thank you! That was an accident though. Mom screwed it up and had to cut it off SHORT. Then she had to thin it to within an inch of it's life.
