Do you keep your guineas and chickens in the same coop? They're so fun. This one is quick to hide behind the cage when I go in the coop. He's super quick.
I do. Having a large coop and an automatic door had been key to making it work. Plus they all free range so the guineas typically go off looking for bugs and don't bother the chickens.Do you keep your guineas and chickens in the same coop?
Mine totally bother the chickens. Won't leave em alone. They're following them around wherever they go. My fatso baby runs up to me like "Mommy I really gotta make a number three but the croods are watchingI do. Having a large coop and an automatic door had been key to making it work. Aw, poor things.Mine totally bother the chickens. Won't leave em alone. They're following them around wherever they go. My fatso baby runs up to me like "Mommy I really gotta make a number three but the croods are watching"
Ya, I imagine it's like having the booger eating kid tag along with you and your friends on the kindergarten playgroundAw, poor things.
Mine don't steal food. They just shadow.Really the only accommodations I've had to make for the guineas is having feeding troughs inside the coop and out. The guineas like to eat outside and drive away any chickens that try to eat out of that trough. So the chickens just go inside and eat out of the trough in there.
The are to other poultry. I love watching them interact with each other, though. Flock dynamics are very interesting with guinea fowl.So what you're both saying is guineas are jerks
Definitely not. They're babies. One of mine was smashed by a mac truck and all his buddies cried and looked for him until I showed them what happened. They worship the ground my chickens walk on.So what you're both saying is guineas are jerks
I “liked” for the effort to show them that one passed & that the chickens have apparently a good balance with them.Definitely not. They're babies.
