25 CDN? That's about 20 US. Spendy, but it also depends on availability in your area. I can get EE pulets for 5-10 USD normally, but that's in AZ.

The pullets I'm getting in September are less than $15 each. And they will be 5 months old. There are lots and lots of chicks available around here. I was kind of shocked at their price to be honest.

Very steep. I bought POL pullets for $20 each

Willa's hatch is complete. Four babies. Last one is a black baby who hatched this morning so he's still tucked under her in this photo. Three chicks and one keet. Last chicken egg was a quitter and the other guinea egg was clear.
