So the question is does anyone know how to go about getting a trademark / patent whatever you would call it for your special hybrid?
Unfortunately I have no idea how to do that.
You mentioned another thread. Did you make one in the breed section?

Then breed them under whatever designer name you have. Make big articles about why your hybrid is the best hybrid out there, tell people why your lines are the purest.
Then if the people like em take what you have to a hatchery and see if they'll bite

Yeah, that's the hitch, is I don't have a place to do that yet. I have some friends I could talk to, maybe, if I can get the stock lined up for the nearish future, but until we move I can't really do that here. :/

I didn't! The thread I found was like 10 years old... But I feel like I'm maybe already getting my answers. If I pretty much just have to DO IT, then.... There it is! First is sell hubby on the idea hahaha
