I've never seen a cute snapper. I did find a baby one though, and it wasn't too ugly. View attachment 3146193

I have a creek that runs through my property. Years ago we got a lot of rain in a short amount of time and it washed a large snapper into my backyard. Poor thing was so lost. I'll see if I can find pictures on my phone

One of the neighbors cats came to investigate and I was really hoping this thing would take a chunk out of the cat but it disappointed me

To all you poppy seed bagel lovers, we have news for you. Eating enough of those crunchy little black seeds could cause you to flunk a drug test. Seriously.

Actually, that kind of makes sense, since the seeds we eat come from opium poppies, which is also used to make opium. But the amount of opiates in the seeds themselves is minimal, so I think you would have to eat a ton of seeds to actually feel any effect.

I'm more like this right now

Just laid a bunch of plastic down in my garden. Had to shovel three piles of mulch out of the way. And I had to clean the yard so my husband can mow when he gets back from work. It's not super duper hot out yet (88°) but it's very humid. Energy sucking.
