I'd say it depends on your perspective. It's something I place a lot of value in from an employer, after having worked places that didn't care about it at all as long as the money kept rolling in. I understand and respect that not everyone will agree, but at the end of the day, the bills are paid, kids are safe, the wife is fully aware of the work I do and does not find fault in it, and my company takes care of me, my teams, and all of our staff. There are better paying gigs out there where I could go and slowly die inside every day doing work I hate, but job satisfaction is a huge chunk of morale in a job, and I'm fine with where I am.

Do I want to do this for another 20 years? Heck no. But until and unless one of the hobbies gains enough traction to support my family doing it full time, I'll keep on keeping on.
