I meant it because definition #3 of spinster is "a woman who seems unlikely to marry." I'm neither definition 1 nor 2, so assumed that azurbanclucker was referring to definition 3.

Gooping? Like mucus? Is it clear or colored? If it's clear then Benadryl to stop it in its tracks. If it's yellow then her body is actively trying to fight an infection, and she's on the road to recovery. If it's greenish, then her body is fighting hard to stop an infection and may need a little help from a vet (shouldn't cost too much, just enough to get her a slightly-higher dose pill than what an owner can safely measure out on their own). It sounds like it's either 1 or 2 though, so she should be ok. Just keep an eye on her... And maybe find out what bothered her sinuses. It could be something as simple as your laundry detergent or floor cleaner, or certain plant pollens.

Clear to yellow goopiness

I don't know what caused the irritation. I was gone for a couple nights. She was safe at home with extra food and her water fountain. I came home and she was sneezing all over the place. Nothing changed.

I believe that a spinster CAN'T garner the attention of a suitor, for whatever reason. Abstinence is CHOSEN. I may not be the most dazzling flower in the garden, but some bees still wanna pollinate.

I'm a Taoist. Taoism neither requires nor recommends abstinence. I've just only ever heard religious people use the word, so that's who I associate it with and figured others would know it more readily. Oh no, celibacy is not me. I abstain because I have adulting to do and don't have the time or energy to put into looking for someone worth being with. I'm a vase flower. My cute looks only lasted that long. Idk why I got that response exactly. I kinda get it, but not really. I wouldn't marry someone special to 'get some'...why would anyone get themselves stuck like that?
