Oh, gee. Should I start at the beginning? First there was nothing. Stop me if you've heard this part. Then out of nothing was something.

DH was never a sports fan, it's part of the reason I married him! Lol
One of my big pet peeves with him lately is he keeps insisting I need to be following a recipe. Case in point last time I made beef stroganoff. He asks me what recipe I used. I told him I didn't. Why not? Because I know how to make beef stroganoff. To which he literally had to pull out a recipe and compare with what I put in it just to try and prove his point. And then he's like, oh. I guess my wife does know how to cook.
I wish he would just skip the part where he's giving me grief that I can't POSSIBLY make xy or z without following a recipe. 
I have a horse friend who loves Heartland, she says specifically because the horse stuff is more realistic. Maybe not the horse *romance* parts, tho! Lol
The ducklings appear to have some kind of weird little sink hole in their enclosure, looks like a chipmunk hole or something? (It's just an open bottom dog enclosure, and then they go into a hard plastic dog kennel to sleep at night.) I was going to try and shift it all over so it's not in there anymore, but they seem to like sticking their heads in there and eating whatever is inside! Lol
Er... Not sure if they're really supposed to be doing that!
