My rescue lizard needs a name. I found him injured so I'm caring for him until he heals up enough to be released.

Unsure of gender, but h/she is a green anole.

Cliche, but there's only one thing you can name it being that shade of green.

Juicy’s been a total sweetheart so far. He keeps the whole flock in check and teaches his young boys good manners:

*Edited to add: Although he may not be SOP himself - he still produces some of the most beautiful offspring I’ve ever seen yet and I consider myself VERY lucky to have a rooster like him watch over the flock for me while I’m gone working most of the day.

My Lav boy attacked me once but I realized it was the shoes he was attacking not me so I took them off and threw them away and he went after them, leaving me alone 😂 he never attacked again. And I could pick him up and hold him and everything. He ended up dying of unknown causes eventually but I suspect the heat as he was extremely fluffy for an American Orp but yeah.
My American lav Orp cockerels were naughty as eff…crowing all day nonstop, bossing hens around, chasing after neighbor kids and scaring the crap out of everyone that they could…I don’t miss them at all but from what I’ve heard from the ladies I rehomed them with - they love them because they serve their purpose!

Oh wow I would hate that too! Thankfully mine was amazing except that one time. He didn’t even crow until like 6-8 months although his “brothers” (mixed breeds hatch) did tons especially the Andalusian lol and he tidbitted his ladies and was really sweet to them. My bantam Cochin was also super sweet to his girls and tidbitted, danced, etc. but he was a total jerk to my other rooster and constantly picked fights to the point they ended up having to be separated and they STILL tried through the fence. He also tried attacked me a couple times but mostly he was sweet and I could hold him and stuff hahah

I’ll get him an appointment at the tanning salon.
Some corn should do the trick. But now I know what I look like walking around in my shorty-shorts.

I sold the Silkie rooster that hated me. He'd attack me, so I started picking him up. Then he started biting. So I used to let him run at me and ut an empty food bucket over him and go on about my business. He loves his new mom and cuddles with her.
