I'm sure that makes Colt feel better. /sI'd suggest some raid up in there before you stick your hands up there just in case there's any grumpy spiders squatting in your console.

Or a fuel delivery problem. @ColtHandorf , if it's starting up and running, is there a reason y'ure replacing the key switch? Like is it overheating and arcing out or were you making a best guess? (not pooping on you here, trying to help find root cause to get it working right.)Sorry, I don't know if your model has it. Just I've had issues when a small engine would run and then stall because of it.
The whole hood is open. No spiders.
Its super simple. This isn't specifically a LT155 but it's the same procedure. I'd suggest some raid up in there before you stick your hands up there just in case there's any grumpy spiders squatting in your console.
Well before it dies it does like a fun coughing sort of thing? Like BAAHHHHHHHHH *cough cough* BBAAHHHH *cough cough* *bahh bah b And then dies. I can get a video of it when I get home if it isn't raining.Sorry, I don't know if your model has it. Just I've had issues when a small engine would run and then stall because of it.
Two different mowers. The riding mower has an ignition switch issue. It's faulty and was producing too much/not enough current and causing wires and relays to burn up. That is why it was all re-wired. When my friend who is no longer answering my calls hooked it back up there was an issue with the switch. That is also why the deck is not on the mower. So lord help me trying to do that by myself. To my knowledge, It just needed a new switch and was good to go.Or a fuel delivery problem. @ColtHandorf , if it's starting up and running, is there a reason y'ure replacing the key switch? Very similar to me. "I" would consider a JD mechanic.Well before it dies it does like a fun coughing sort of thing? Like BAAHHHHHHHHH *cough cough* BBAAHHHH *cough cough* *bahh bah b And then dies. I can get a video of it when I get home if it isn't raining.
Carb's dirty and has crap in the float bowl that is plugging the jet as fuel siphons out.The whole hood is open. No spiders.

Check the manual and get a hubby that is named ManuelMen Folk and Handy Ladies!
My John Deere LT155 riding mower’s ignition switch is bad. I would like to order a new one. Someone who is less stupid than me, can you find one on Amazon I can order so I can mow my yard?
Also, my Troybilt TB130XP push mower needs a new carburetor. Is this the right one?

I am also ordering new filters for my Dyson DC33 vacuum cleaner. Pretty sure I'm smart enough to figure this out, but these work, right?

Thank you for your service. If in your internet browsing you should find me a husband to do this for me, I will also accept that as a solution.

You should FaceTime/Skype/Zoom him.Carb's dirty and has crap in the float bowl that is plugging the jet as fuel siphons out.
You can order rebuild kits for them pretty cheaply, but I know you're a bit of a novice yard tool mechanic so for you it may be better to just replace it. You WILL need some simple hand tools though (socket set and some wrenches) to remove and reinstall the carb.
Learning how to tear one down and rebuild it is a good skill to have (for more than just mower carbs), but definitely not if you don't have a backup to get you working while you play. It's fairly simple but it can definitely be intimidating if you don't have someone around to show you the ropes.
I was describing the Trobilt push mower. The JD won't even start right now.Very similar to me. "I" would consider a JD mechanic.
Yeah, I thought replacing would be the simplest. I don't know how to do anything very handy.Carb's dirty and has crap in the float bowl that is plugging the jet as fuel siphons out.

I don't have the manual. It was horrifying enough to watch my friend following the electrical schematic for the re-wiring process. His name was will so I always said where there's a Will there's a way.Check the manual and get a hubby that is named Manuel
I am down for this. You should FaceTime/Skype/Zoom him.
Video call in general.
