Well after some time here on BYC I have concluded that nobody is scary.....just some people are assertive or are know it alls making them seem scary.....all you have to do is let them know they can't walk all over you

That's the problem. Just because it's an adult conversation doesn't mean it's inappropriate. Some younger members tend to think if it's not appropriate for playground chat then it's not appropriate here.
