They guy who owns this, had a 1967 LandRover in his garage for some work. The kind from Doctari. After he got it on the lift, the frame crunched. Salt water exposure does terrible things over decades. If you are going to buy an antique, get it inspected.

Neat vehicle, I don't recommend LandRovers.

I actually want a D90 or a D110 but I know where to look for the tinworm and it'd be a "Body by Rover, heartbeat by GM" kind of deal because I'd LS swap it and go with more reliable drivetrain components.

My FJ is going to get a twin turbo 2jz and since that's essentially a '65 Chevy frame it sits on, lots of straightforward suspension and drivetrain choices for it. Not going too wild, just a reliable 450-500 streetable and off-road-able horses.

Interesting. My rental sucked in the winter and a coworker traded hers in because of that

It's almost never the car's fault and almost always the tires. Good winter tires make a world of difference
