Turnips are a good fall crop. We also have kale planted but it takes a bit longer to sprout.

Usually we have to plant fall crops in August in Ohio. But your in MS, huge difference. When do you guys usually get your first good frost?

I don’t care for it alone, but RK mixes it with the turnips and I LOVE turnips!

I usually do collards, turnips, Brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli and some kind of lettuce through fall until I turn it over for spring planting. I haven’t did a thing yet. I’m lagging behind but there is still time. But who knows because I ain’t feeling it
