Funny story! We were visiting my husband's mother a few months after we got married. He found a toad hopping around in the parking lot of the apartment complex and brought it inside to show me. I was in the bedroom but he passed his mom on the way and showed her the toad. She looked alarmed, because she was assuming I was going to be afraid of it and he was going to tease me with it. He likes to tease her, so he let her believe that's what he was gonna do. She was a little bit confused when she started hearing my excited squeals when he brought it to me.
