Does striking a body at high speed not do something that could potentially cause the meat to be inedible for human consumption? What if the liver or kidneys burst on impact, or any other icky organs that release bad things into the meat? And a stressful death usually makes meat tougher, yeah?

I've had deer processed after a car strike only once, and I didn't notice any difference in taste or texture. I don't think I'm qualified to give a good opinion here.

Potentially. That would be evident upon cutting it open, though.

I know you were just making a joke, but I believe growth hormones aren't allowed to be feed to factory farmed meat chickens

I literally gave my cockerels away and the people that processed them brought some of them back as a thank you. My roommate cooked them and stood over me screaming and cursing with a wooden spoon until I put some of it in my mouth. I couldn't eat it.

Yes and no. I hit a deer or elk, it's fresh, I know what happened, and it's mine. Payback for the damage it invariably caused to my car. I'm not scraping 2 day possum off the blacktop and putting it in a pot though.
