I had one and returned it. I hated it. Not enough control over the cutting and the apples I get are straight from the orchard. Not perfect enough to fit in nicely so they cut funny and I end up losing too much apple with the peel
Did you end up having tons of apples from your trees this year? Both my apple and pear fruit trees were completely overloaded with fruit so bad that the weight on the branches made them touch the ground… 😬

Not me but my parents did. And these apples I'm cooking now are from a farmers market

I wonder if it was just a weird weather year here or if it’s happening everywhere else too as well.
Where do you live? Apples are fine this year in Ohio, but my beans in my garden were crap. I usually get enough to can 25 or 30 pints and I barely got enough to eat fresh

I’m in the Midwest Loess Hills region and yeah damn…most of my garden veggies died from either bugs or heat this year so I didn’t get anywhere nearly as much as I planned.

Same here with the beans. That intense June heat really beat them back. Our variety in particular does not do well in extreme heat. We were in the 100s several days in June with no rain.

You don't usually get clouds in AZ?

Maybe that's what did mine in too. We had a hot June. But I feel like we had pretty normal weather, all in all
