So, I know we are talking horses and not people. However, if let’s say a woman is under 5’1” is she not a woman but a girl?

To me and how I was raised ponies have a certain structure/build to them. They are built different and are stronger for their size, and easier to keep. To me she has a small horse.

So what, if he grows another inch all f sudden he magically becomes a horse? And, he could because he is a horse.

Interesting! Never thought of that. So how old is he? And at what age is this determination made? My Arab was 14.4 if I remember correctly. Can we get a pic of this small horse? Please do pardon my ignorance. I am here to learn!

No no, age has nothing to do with it. Girl/woman is about maturity /age, not height. If a human male is under 5'5" is he a boy all his life and not a man? That's silly. Pony/ horse is strictly about height, not age. Don't muddy the waters! I'm barely 5'1" myself and I became a woman legally on my 18th birthday. Horses also have terminology related to age, such as filly/colt, and it has nothing to do with height.

He is two years old I think or just under.
