I would have gotten it if you just said biker. But maybe that's just me

fair enough. we’ve said biker to a few people who asked “bicycle or motorcycle?” so i felt the need to clarify.

in any event, he was a biker for halloween. i dressed to match and we had a good time.

I got biker, too. If he'd been on a bicycle I guess you would have said bicycle. Not much of a costume. You could have said "we also wore our leathers."

Ya idk. I wore the same clothes when riding or working or whatever. Didn't have specific clothes for riding unless ya it was leather weather.
I used to go to Sturgis every year. Ya I rode mine and we used to make fun of the trailer trash that would unload their bikes at Wall Drug then ride them into Sturgis.
One year we watched a group unload then go inside. They came back out wearing dusty dirty clothes and leathers. Must not of been their first rodeo. We laughed so hard. Your "outfits" comment reminded me of those guys.

i can’t exactly wear a suit while riding, so it’s a little different in that regard i guess.

i know the poser crowd you’re referring to though, and it’s laughable.

i never did sturgis, but did daytona twice and laconia a few times. rode the whole way from NY.

generally i just ride in jeans and a t shirt and a pair of boots, so nothing special really. sometimes my vest, and then a jacket as it gets colder.
