A good pet sitter is hard to find. The one we had a few weeks ago nearly killed my senior pug. I’d hire her back again (she wasn’t the worst we’ve had) but next time I will be need to be extremely specific.

He’s ancient & used to sleeping all day.

We saw on the cams that she had him out every 1.5hrs x12hrs. He was nearly paralyzed when we got home. He spent 3 days in bed unable to eat or move & having screaming seizures. I thought we’d have to put him down, but on the fourth day he just stood up, walked outside & snarfed down his food.

Thanks me too! My extended family is extremely religious. They were praying hard. I’m not kidding, I think they saved him.

So when you say you would hire that girl again, it wasn't that she was negligent, just that she didn't have explicit directions on how he needed to be left alone or something?

I should have told her to leave him be. I didn’t know I needed to, but that’s on me. 20/20 hindsight.
